Abstract:Using Stasheff¡¯s intrinsic interpretation of the Gerstenhaber bracket in Hochschild cohomology, Keller proved in 1999 that the Gerstenhaber algebra structure on the Hochschild cohomology of an algebra is invariant under derived equivalences. In this talk, we will show an analogous result for Tate-Hochschild cohomology. That is, the Gerstenhaber algebra structure on the Tate-Hochschild cohomology of an algebra is invariant under singular equivalences of Morita type.
